sick redux

I was sick for a while up to about a week ago. I think I’m getting sick again now (gah! freaking idiot!). At least this is a new illness; my lymph nodes are swollen, my head hurts and my sinus is congested. It almost feels like the ole mono is coming back. Between this, registration and fall recruiting fever (only three more months to go), I may slow down a bit in the posting.

While I’m bothering to do something semi-productive, Andrew has again requested a new nick-name; if we’re going to be moot-court partners (more on that in a bit), he’ll need something more menacing than “runs like a girl.” I’m thinking “the Animal,” “Flash” or even “El Tigre Del Diablo.” Whatever the name, we’ll crush the Patrick/Jape and Darcy/Elizabeth teams beneath our jack-boots (I’ll need to buy some jack-boots) and laugh. Even if we don’t march over them like they’re the French Army (from 1870, 1914 or 1940; take your pick), it should at least be entertaining.

Sam, Doug is right. I finally caved and went to the doctor today...sinus infection. I had been dosing myself with over-the-counter stuff for over a month. Only antibiotics will kick it. Hope you feel better!

Sam, get thee some real drugs, not that over-the-counter sissy crap. What's really cool is that if you ever go to Spain (or probably any place in Europe), if you start feeling an infection of some kind coming on, you can buy antibiotics at your favorite local pharmacy. no prescription needed. thus, when i got a sinus infection in barcelona, i bought some amoxicilin all by myself. of course it helps to have a doctor tell you what concentration and dosage to take, but you know, it's just a cool feeling :)

rhm: sam and i don't make out! we share dinner. every night.

i'm starting to think i should have tried out for this moot court/mock trial thing. all the cool kids are doing it. this is what i get for being lazy.

P-Man: We're talking about the advocacy class- no trying out needed. You should sign up for it, it will be big fun for all.

Lizzy: after the Rocky IV comment, do I have to do a montage of me running through the snow, writing a brief and chopping wood?
