I miss sleep

I hate this memo. I wake up everyday at five, get to school at 6 and work on it until class starts. After class, I go to the library and work on it. I go home, work on it and fall asleep at the keyboard.

I realize that no one gives a crap about my sleep/writing habits, but if you're on this site, you must be as bored as me.

In other news, my wife - who is recovering from a sprained neck - was asleep in bed last night when she starting yelling some nonsense. It turns out one of our cats ran across her face and scratched her nose (less than a centimeter from her eye). She then gets, despite these injuries, to work at Wal-Mart. Her life sucks worse than mine.

You have my sympathy. If your wife is working at WalMart to support you two while you go to school, you'd better appreciate her big time!

tell your wife that i feel for her working at wal-mart. i can't stand even going into a wal-mart. and from what i've read about how they treat women, it can't be good working there. i also feel for her with the cat thing. my cat is constantly climbing all over my face & head at night. sometimes i wonder why i even have cats, but i wouldn't get rid of them for anything!

and i feel for you on the memo thing, too. of course, mine isn't due for another 2 weeks so naturally i haven't started on it. but i'll be where you are in about a week or so. you'll do fine. i'm sure it'll be brilliant.

english prof, believe me, I appreciate her. If it weren't for her, I wouldn't have enough student loans to last all year, and I'd get to spend my summer selling flowers under I-45 (though I would at least then technically have a summer job). Her life will get better: she'll retire at 24 and I'll spend the next 40 years working 80 hours a week.

heather, they treat women pretty well at her Wal-Mart. Most of the managers are female; in fact, I can only think of about two guys who work there and aren't stockers. She was happy to hear that you're a cat person - we don't know anyone else (except Darcy) who likes cats.

Now Sam,
I can't believe you would think such a thing, I happen to be quite fond of cats.
I especially am fond of the idea of what they look like when you drop-kick them

That is precisely why I didn’t include you in my count, cat-kicker.
