and they're off
I finished all of my applications/resume mailing. 80 by mail and 12 online. Now begins the waiting, then the throwing away of rejection letters.
If a pleading to which a responsive pleading is permitted is so vague or ambiguous that a party cannot reasonably be required to frame a responsive pleading, the party may move for a more definite statement before interposing a responsive pleading. Fed. R. Civ. P. 12(e).

good luck to you, sam! that's an insane amount of apps. btw, are you sick of something? we've all noticed your absence.
i meant sick OR something. though sick of something probably works, too.
Thanks for worrying about me. I'm ok: I didn't feel like going on Thursday, then my wife sprained her neck Thursday night, so I stayed home to take care of her Friday.
I'm amazed I'm not sick after licking so many friggin' envelopes. I can still taste them.
i'll bet my student loans i get more rejection letters than you do.
can i bet student loans? i just did.
I'm up to two already (from internet apps), but I'm not taking that bet. Considering it's February, I'm a 1L, I go to STCL and the fact that half of the apps are going out of state, I'm being totally serious when I say that I doubt I'll get a job at one of these firms.
I will bet you $1 (one dollar) that I will not get a job this summer at any of the firms to which I have thus far mailed a resume.
i'm gonna be rich!!! i'm gonna win $1 from Sam and i'm gonna be rich!!!
ok, you're on.
